Well, no more reviews just yet but my browser is getting bombarded with tabs which means I had to sort through and get rid of some, which means, taking part in a challenge.
I followed the Book Lady‘s advice and cleaned up by Google Reader feed. It wasn’t too disorganized but I went and added some new sorting and categorizing instead of everything just all over the place. I did get rid of a few blogs that either don’t exist or I’m not interested in anymore, or that were even duplicates. That was a fun quick exercise.
Not sure what I’m doing next, but I just might finish my current book, Cold Mountain, before I continue.
Not much accomplished since my last post. I’ve been looking through some of the other mini-challenges but I’m not quite in the mood yet to tackle something else or big proportions.
I got a few more tv show review finished:
My next task will be to get some new release reviews completed in the next little while. I’m taking my blogging in spurts to drag it out as much as possible. I will probably get more accomplished tomorrow than today, but I found out I can use my computer in the hospital room which is easy, but also even more distracting than if I was at home.
Haven’t got too much done yet. I changed the layout of both my blogs to the same format and template, possibly for more flexibility and make it easier to maintain. I did a little reorganizing on this particular blog, but in the future I hope to have an area like some with links to challenges and different weekly events I participate in.
I have also finished three reviews so far.
In addition, I finally got through one of the mini-challenges, Grade Blogger by Bookish Ruth. That was fun to look through. I scored 78/100 on my marketing effectiveness, which sounds about good to me. It’s google page rank wasn’t high but that’s not a big deal to me because my site is more for my personal pleasure as the moment than anything else. It was pretty cool to hear my last Google crawl date was today – that’s something new and fun to keep an eye out for.
Bloggiesta starts in about a half hour for me. I will be doing a good portion of this offline and then coming back to update when I can, keeping track of my hours offline to post. My father is having health issues so I’m spending time at the hospital and as far as I know, computers are a no-no.
My first goal of this fun event is to catch up on movie reviews. The first list batch will be after the jump and will be posted over at In the Masses. There is even more than this, but I think it’s all I can really manage.
Every chance I get online, I will get myself rolling on some mini-challenges, since it appears there is no set deadline to finish them and I can take some time. There are many to improve blogs and lists and much more. My information you want on the Bloggiesta and it’s participants can be found over at Maw Books.
Furthermore, I have at least one book review (maybe 2 by the end of the day) and some Librarything and goodreads inventory to catch up on, plus the possibility of joining another new challenge.
I’ll be keeping you posted. See you soon.
