2010 Book Blogger Recommendation Challenge

Hosted by Reading With Tequila
January 1 – December 31, 2010
Reading with Tequila created this great challenge where she had bloggers recommend books then created a large list from 2009. Click here to see the entire 2009 Book Blogger Recommendation List. I am choosing Level IV – Read 20 books

Some of the Rules:

  • Chose your own books from the list. You can decide to read books only on the Top 25 list or from the entire recommendation list. You do not have to make a list of books before the challenge begins.
  • All forms of books acceptable (audiobooks, eBooks, etc.)
  • Rereads do not count towards the completion of the challenge. The challenge is about discovering books that are new to you.
  • Reviews, while always appreciated, are not mandatory.
Here is the list of books I would like to read/choose from:
  1. Hunger Games
  2. The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
TheĀ  Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
  3. Book Thief
  4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
  5. The Road
  6. Deception Point
  7. Salem’s Lot
  8. The Other Boleyn Girl
  9. Undead and Unwed
  10. Flowers in the Attic by Anonymous
  11. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
  12. Shining
  13. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling
  14. Princess Diaries
  15. The Stand
  16. Rhett Butler’s People
  17. The Bell Jar
  18. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
  19. Five People You Meet in Heaven
  20. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
  21. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  22. Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote

This way I have at least 2 alternatives – and who knows if I might choose something else on the list not mentioned above.
