Dewey’s Spring Read-a-Thon – COMING SOON

Join the Read-a-Thon HERE!

The sign-ups have finally arrived and I very excited that I am completely available for the Spring Read-a-Thon taking place on April 10, 2010 – my start time is 6am.

I finally finished my Spring Reading Thing challenge list a few days ago and have so many fun and easy things on it. I will slowly start working on my list over the week, but I have a feeling it will consist majorly of Nancy Drew books and some other fun things along the way. Depending on my energy level I need to make a dent in Anna Karenina as well so hopefully I can do that as well.

It’s Monday. What are you reading?

Bookjourney over at One Persons Journey through a world of books is now hosting this event.

Not the most productive reading week but I’m gearing up for the Spring Read-a-Thon and will hopefully be able to make a big dent in the list of books I want to read this spring.

  1. Ten Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives by Laura Schlessinger
  2. Angels Flight by Michael Connelly

Reading This Week:

  • The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Rich Again by Anna Maxted
  • Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
  • 3rd Degree by James Patterson

What’s on Your Nightstand – March

Well, March wasn’t as productive as I hoped. One of these months I will actually get through my list and follow the reading I plan. I did manage to get quite a few of the books read, but still working on others.

  • Rich Again by Anna Maxted (Early Reviewer)
  • The Girlfriend’s Guide to Understanding Men by Bo Sebastian (Early Reviewer)
  • Glory in Death by J.D. Robb
  • 2nd Chance by James Patterson
  • E is for Evidence by Sue Grafton
  • Angels Flight by Michael Connelly
  • The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

The last book I finished was Angels Flight by Michael Connelly. Two of the others are still in progress. One I need to start, ASAP. Maybe my progress was better than expected.

For April, I’m planning on reading:

  1. Rich Again by Anna Maxted (Early Reviewer) – IN PROGRESS
  2. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy- IN PROGRESS (won’t be finishing this month)
  3. The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien – IN PROGRESS
  4. The Girlfriend’s Guide to Understanding Men by Bo Sebastian (Early Reviewer)
  5. The Hidden Staircase by Carolyn Keene
  6. Bungalow Mystery by Carolyn Keene
  7. Mystery at the Lilac Inn by Carolyn Keene
  8. Linchpin by Seth Godin
  9. 3rd Degree by James Patterson
  10. Immortal in Death by J.D. Robb
  11. Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
  12. A Darkness More than Night by Michael Connelly
  13. To the Nines by Janet Evanovich

Now that the Spring Reading Thing has started I will get a chance to get back to reading all my favorite authors. The Lord of The Rings Challenge will finish at the end of April, plus I have a couple books I need to read for our work book club. Should be a busy week. I hope to get through a lot of books with the help of the Spring Read-a-Thon coming up next weekend.
