Pride & Prejudice & Zombies: The Graphic Novel

Title: Pride & Prejudice & Zombies: Graphic Novel
Adapted by: Tony Lee
Finished: April 9, 2011
Pages: 176
Published: 2010
Format: paperback

This series has quickly become one of my favorites and the Graphic Novel is no exception.

Following the book adaptation closely, the graphic novel version was especially fun to read (having already read the actual book) and being able to see the graphic interpretation and photos of the story. It definitely helps bring it to life even more.

If you enjoy the series, the adaptations, or graphic novels in general this one is a great one to check out!

Adventures of Harold and the Purple Crayon

Pages: 256

Harold and the Purple Crayon has always been one of my favorite children’s stories so when I found this collection, I couldn’t resist.

Not only does it contain the original story, but three others for enjoyment. It was so much fun to read on an early morning for the read-a-thon and I can’t wait to share it with my future kids and family.

Don’t Blink

Title: Don’t Blink
Author: James Patterson
Finished: April 8, 2011
Pages: 376
Published: 2010
Format: First Edition

James Patterson is at it again with another thriller. This time, when a high profile man is killed in a crowded restaurant the only clue lies in the hands of a reporter working on a once in a lifetime story.

But little does he know how his once little bit of information will come to be the driving force for a killer or killers determined to keep him quite and the secret safe.

I always enjoy the stand alone novels because you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything if you miss one of the books. This one kept me on the edge of my seat, beginning to end, always curious about what the next curve ball was going to be and how the story would be resolved.
