REVIEW: The Zen of the Social Media Marketing

Title: The Zen of Social Media Marketing
Author: Shama Hyder Kabani
Finished: November 14, 2011
Pages: 186
Published: 2010
Format: paperback

A great social media book for anyone who is looking for more information or looking to branch out in the social media world.

I found this one while looking at a different book on Amazon and found it to be a very easy read but very informative. Kabani does a great job of being informative but not too textbook and wordy.

She also covers many different areas, not just the basics.

I highly recommend this book and it’s online resources for anything social media in your world

REVIEW: Midnight in Death

Title: Midnight in Death
Author: J.D. Robb
Finished: November 13, 2011
Pages: 90
Published: 1998
Format: paperback

My first J.D. Robb novella, and it was a great read. I’m a huge Eve Dallas fan and look forward to every book I get to pick up and enjoy about Eve.

In this specific story, Eve and Roarke celebrate their first Christmas together but before they can truly enjoy it, Eve is called away to the murder of a judge. The note included at the scene is a wish list of public figures the murdered hopes to kill.

Eve finds herself fighting with Roarke about her safety but knows she is the only one who can truly bring this killer down and save lives of others.

Such a great and inspirational book that helps everyone who reads it come to the realization that titles don’t matter – it’s your perception and how you do your job.

Plus, no matter what your job or rank, in some way shape or form you are a leader in your job – from working with subcontractors, ordering supplies, working on projects – making any decision constitutes you as a leader.

Great motivational book for employees, friends & family!

REVIEW: The Sinner

Title: The Sinner
Author: Tess Gerritsen
Finished: November 10, 2011
Pages: 342
Published: 2003
Format: First Edition

I am in love the with Jane Rizzoli series, as much as I love the show. I can’t wait to continue the series through 2012 and it just might be my go-to series this coming year, especially with the new Jane Rizzoli Challenge.

In The Sinner, Jane finds herself searching for a killer who targeted a convent and two nuns. While it’s hard to imagine who could do such a thing in a holy and sacred location, Jane uses everything she can to find the true killer, even talking to a young witness.

Jane and Maura are closer than even and drawn to the shock of who could commit such a crime.
