REVIEW: 2001 A Space Odyssey

Title: 2001 A Space Odyssey
Author: Arthur C. Clarke
Finished: November 16, 2011
Pages: 320
Published: 1968
Format: audiobook

Another audiobook since sci-fi isn’t always my most favorite genre to read.

The book was created in conjunction with the movie version by Kubrick and according to Wikipedia is based on a series of short stories.

It’s been long enough since I listened and it wasn’t a favorite, that without quoting directly from a website, I think the title is pretty self-explanatory. The tale of a spaceman who begins to run into a series of issues with his ship and begins to believe that the onboard robot is┬ásabotaging┬áthe mission on purpose.

It was definitely interesting when I got to the heart of the story, but still I felt there were slower parts.
