24 Hour Read a Thon: Hour 1

The Read a Thon has officially started and I was late. It’s hard getting up at 6am on a Saturday and jump right into reading. But I managed.

You can find all the information and more and challenges HERE.

Onto the first challenge:

Where are you reading from today? Starting from my bed and then probably moving to the couch and chair in the living room … in Idaho.

3 facts about me … I love to write fiction which I hope to publish one day. I’ve lived in Idaho my whole life. Pink is my favorite color.

How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours? 6 for sure but I think I have roughly ten total plus the other 130ish from my full TBR pile.

Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)? I don’t really have a goal. I’m just looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish. Since it’s my first time I can use it to set goals for the next time.

If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, Any advice for people doing this for the first time? I’m a first time. I can use all the advice I can get.

Here’s my stats so far:

Title of book(s) read since last update: Dancing in My Nuddy Pants
Number of books read since you started: 0
Pages read since last update: 72
Running total of pages read since you started: 72
Amount of time spent reading since last update: 45 minutes
Running total of time spent reading since you started: 45 minutes
Mini-challenges completed: 1
Other participants you’ve visited: 0
Prize you’ve won: 0
Well, I got to get back to reading. See you at Hour 2.
