April 2009 Review

My best month yet by far in reading, not only in general but books off my own shelves. That is my overall goal for the year, to read as many books as possible off the TBR list and less from the library and borrowed books. I started off the year weak and while I feel like I made progress for reading 10 books that I owned, I added a large amount to my collection due to library book sales.

Challenges Finished: Book Binge 2009, Banned Book Challenge, 50 Book Challenge, and participated in the 2009 Spring Read-a-Thon.

Not many goals for next month. June has a couple challenges finishing up so I’ll probably be reading books that pertain to those. Maybe I’ll get another 10 from my own shelves completed. Buy less books as well, which shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll be doing a lot of traveling in May so I’m sure my reading will be up, but not quite like this month that’s for sure.
