What’s on Your Nightstand? – July 2009

nightstand

What a long unproductive month of reading. I’m not impressed with myself that for the past two months I haven’t really taken a whole lot off my nightstand, but pick up books from other places. August is going to be a critical month in my reading because I have a few challenges that will be finishing. That said, a lot on my nightstand will probably continue to go unread for another month.

However, I did finish up the entire Chronicles of Narnia, and started Gone With the Wind, so some books have been removed, but the rest remain.

To Read in August:

  1. Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell (Summer Vacation Reading)
  2. Five Days in Paris by Danielle Steel (Summer Vacation Reading)
  3. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden (999 Challenge)
  4. Smash Cut by Sandra Brown (999 Challenge/Countdown Challenge)
  5. Run For Your Life by  Sandra Brown (999 Challenge/Countdown Challenge)
  6. Four Blind Mice by James Patterson (999 Challenge)
  7. Big Bad Wolf by James Patterson (999 Challenge)
  8. London Bridges by James Patterson (999 Challenge)
  9. Mary Mary by James Patterson (999 Challenge)
  10. Cross by James Patterson (999 Challenge)
  11. Double Cross by James Patterson (999 Challenge)

Here’s to hoping I can finish these all in a timely fashion.

Now that’s a list! GWTW alone would take me a month! It is good, though. I read it waaaaay back in high school.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. I read Memoirs of a Geisha last summer and really liked the book, hope you do as well. I have not read any James Patterson books.
    Happy Reading!

  3. The James Patterson books are such fast reads as well as being good stories. Happy reading.
