James Patterson Challenge – COMPLETE

james patterson3

Yvonne at Scorates’ Book Reviews is hosting the James Patterson Reading Challenge. She writes:

Since I love James Patterson’s books so much – even books other than the Women’s Murder Club series – I decided to host one more challenge. This is for anything written by James Patterson. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have quite a few of his books in my TBR.

The goal was to read at least 10 books by this author from August 15, 09 – August 15, 10.

Of course the challenge time frame is not up yet but I have joined so many other challenges that I didn’t want to have to remember to keep reading Patterson books (even though I know there will still be plenty more).

MY LIST:

  1. Big Bad Wolf
  2. London Bridges
  3. Mary Mary
  4. Cross
  5. Murder of King Tut
  6. Double Cross
  7. Cross Country
  8. Dangerous Days of Daniel X
  9. Daniel X: Watch the Skies
  10. Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment

Everything Austen Challenge – COMPLETE

everythingausten1

The challenge ran from July 1, 09 – Jan 1, 10, hosted by Stephanie’s Written Word, and involves reading or watching six related pieces of work pertaining to Jane Austen or her stories. I ran out of time and ended up watching more Austen movies than reading. I still have quite a few on my list (Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters) and finished another after the deadline (Dear Jane Austen). I’m not sure if the Bridget Jones sequel really counts but I did anyway.

My LIST:

  1. Emmafinished NOV 23, 09
  2. Pride, Prejudice and Zombiesfinished JULY 24, 09
  3. Sense and Sensibility (movie) – watched DEC 31, 09
  4. Persuasion (1995 movie) – watched JAN 1, 10
  5. Bridget Jones’s Diary (movie) – watched DEC 31, 09
  6. Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason (movie) – watched DEC 31, 09
