REVIEW: Naked Heat

Title: Naked Heat
Author: Richard Castle
Finished: March 2, 2011
Pages: 290
Published: 2010
Format: First Edition

I loved the first book so much once I read it, I couldn’t help starting this one as soon as possible so I could find out what would happen next.

In this adventure, Nikki and Rook find themselves both at the crime scene where a famous tabloid reporter has been killed … except Nikki arrives a little late to find her “friend” way ahead of her and full of secrets. Despite her best efforts, Heat can’t avoid Rook for long and soon they are back to their old ways searching for a killer who has more in store for both of them.

I love Nikki and Rook together as much as I love Castle and Beckett and this latest adventure does not disappoint. I love how danger and suspense bring them back together and teaches them that it will take more than high school drama to keep them apart.

I’m hearing there will be another book coming soon. Can’t wait!
