Week in Review: January 2, 2012

One of my goals for 2012 is to keep up with my book blog, write reviews promptly, and more. I also love the weekly updates from others so I thought I could get into the sharing mood as well.

While there have only been two days in January so far, better to start now.

I’m Reading:

  • Witness in Death by J.D. Robb
  • Steve Jobs  by Walter Isaacson (audio)
  • It by Stephen King (audio)
  • Socialnomics by Erik Qualman
  • Social Media Guide for Real Estate by Mike Lyon

Like some in the book world, I watch my share of TV and movies. I’ve been playing some catch up and spent the good part for three days on a Law & Order: SVU marathon. I finished Season 10 & 11 and am halfway through Season 12. Almost caught up. We also went to see The Descendants with George Clooney. I got the book for Christmas and look forward to reading it soon.

Small amount of reading done since last Monday. I was successful in finishing Lost Light before the 345 Challenge ended and am now on a quest to finish the Women’s Murder Club series and many others. I feel like overall I’m accomplishing the reading I have wanted but just not a quickly as I would like.

I got a little more reading accomplished this week and finished a couple books. I have a road trip and family reunion coming up this weekend so I anticipate getting some good reading done in the sun and driving.

It’s been over a month since I participated in this weekly meme and I’ve missed it. I’ve been so backed up with reviews lately that I can barely get other items on my blog finished. I’ve managed to keep up my reading, it slowed a bit last week but I’m hoping it will pick up more over the rest of the month and into August.

I only finished one book this past week, but I was hardly home long enough to sleep let alone finish reading.
